What we Believe

We thank God for all the Holy Spirit is doing throughout the Nigeria Episcopal Area. We also thank all our clergy, laity and congregations for your deep desire to allow God to work through you, as together we raise faithful and fruitful leaders who are passionate to transform the world. We know God has a great future for us because we see and experience God’s love and power through our leaders and congregations. As we have continued our journey into the subsequent years ahead our Mission shall be:

to raise faithful and fruitful disciples of Jesus Christ who are passionate to transform the world through preaching teaching and provision of services that carter for the physical and spiritual needs of the Church and the society.

Our Vision shall focus on:

Raising Faithful and Fruitful people as disciples of Jesus who will bring transformation to this generation. We shall achieve this by:

  1. Starting and nurturing missional congregations and communities with physical and spiritual cares.
  2. Developing effective lay and clergy servant leaders for the church and the community.
  3. Providing Humanitarian services that cater for the physical and spiritual needs of these congregations and communities.
  4. Connecting congregations and communities with resources for ministries so that we can do better together.

As disciples of Jesus Christ in the Wesleyan tradition called to participate in God’s transformation work in the world. Our purpose is to:

  1. Pray, preach and teach the Bible undiluted.
  2. Do away with tribalism and sectionalism to create equal space for all to exercise their God’s given talent.
  3. Learn to love God by loving all people.
  4. We desire everyone to experience a life of worship and joy in God’s presence by faith in Jesus Christ.

We are changed by the power of the Holy Spirit as we learn to follow Jesus. Our holiness comes from the saving acts of Jesus Christ. We believe that faithful people are called to be fruitful their communities.  As faithful and fruitful disciples of Jesus, we have a responsibility to hold one another accountable for our discipleship. Beloved, in the previous years we did our best in living our mission and today we can celebrate what we have done in many areas.
